Public Relations Jobs UAEUAE government has strictly forbade private sector from appointing expatriate women in their public relations sections. In fact, it is not allowed to hire any expat gender as this job will remain restricted to Emiratis only.

The ministry of labour outlined the position at its“open-day” meeting, held every week to consider applications by private sector institutions and workers seeking to shift to another employer under the country’s new labour rules.

Private sector organizations employing more than 100 people are required to have a PR person and it is required to hire an Emirati for that.

The ban to appoint women in PR sections of private sector organizations has been imposed in 2006 and it is likely to continue in future.
