Arab Digital Distribution (ADD) has announced the launch of two new regional packages – Pehla Spice and Pehla Spice Plus.
Targeted at the large South Indian diaspora across the Middle East and North Africa, ADD said it expects the launch to result in a “substantial decrease in content infringements”.
The Pehla Spice packages offer a mix of entertainment, infotainment and news in Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu and Kannada on the four regional channels Sun TV, Surya TV, Gemini TV and Udaya TV.
The Pehla Spice bouquet offering 18 channels is priced at AED45, while Pehla Spice Plus offering 27 channels is priced at AED110.
The company said the new packages would soon be available on cable in the UAE through du and on Mozaic TV by Qtel in Qatar.
ADD packages already reach out to nearly one million viewers across the region on three different bouquets and offer more than 60 channels covering different genres of entertainment and information.
