feeshehFeesheh, popular Jordanian online shop for music instruments, has arrived in Dubai and UAE.

Feesheh, which means plug in Arabic, was launched in 2012 by the duo of Fahed Farraj and Nur Alfayez, both musicians-turned-entrepreneurs, targeting Arab music and musicians in MENA region. Feesheh was launched after receiving training and a seed fund from the Jordanian accelerator Oasis500.

Nur is an architect, a vocalist, and a musical instruments lover/collector. Fahed is guitar player, a gamer and a rocker. He worked in various gaming startups in Jordan before co-founding Feesheh.com.

The market in the Arab World is very fragmented offline as musical instruments shops are scattered in different cities with no go to destination. Shopping online from US and Europe based big players is not an option either; credit cards are not widely used in the Middle East, the brands that have distribution in the Middle East are restricted from shipping internationally, shipping is very expensive and takes forever, and language is a huge barrier. This provided a window of opportunity to Fahed and Nur, thus Feesheh was born.

Feesheh deals in Arab and other oriental instruments like ouds as well as Western brands for guitars and other instruments like Fender and Yamaha. With both cash-on-delivery and installment payment options, Feesheh does away with the red tape that formerly presented a formidable obstacle to ordering from overseas.

Feesheh is now fully operational in the UAE, delivering all kinds of musical instruments to doorstep within 2-4 days in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. They offer free delivery on orders above 500 AED. All instruments come with manufacturer’s warranty for 6 months.

Further details can be checked at their website.
